Meet Our Leadership Team

Michael Siracusano
President and Chief Executive Officer
Michael Siracusano founded Aetna in 1996 and currently serves as the company's President and Chief Executive Officer.
Michael began his career as an employee of a freight forwarder, and within a few years, turned to entrepreneurship as a way of combining his business acumen and acquired industry knowledge with his vision to create something unique. Since embarking on his mission nearly 30 years ago, Michael has successfully founded and managed a group of “outlier” logistics companies both in terms of the wide range of highly specialized, niche markets they serve and the vast array of services each company is able to provide in-house. Michael has also founded multiple other companies outside of the logistics space in the areas of consulting, real estate, and insurance.
Michael continues to be an innovative entrepreneur and executive, always looking for opportunities to create value by improving existing methodologies and creating new paradigms. He has since not only established himself as a notable entrepreneurial figure, but also leads an active civic life. Michael earned a BBA from the University of Hartford.
Stefano Siracusano
Vice President and Chief Legal Officer
Stefano Siracusano first began working at Aetna in 2009, holding multiple positions in the company as the second-generation in the family business. He currently serves as Vice President and Chief Legal Officer.
Stefano is a dynamic and multi-disciplinary leader possessing a wide range of knowledge in corporate strategy, corporate law and governance, mergers & acquisitions, contract negotiation, general business management, marketing, accounting, finance, and taxation.
Stefano previously worked at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel on tax litigation matters and in private law practice in the areas of corporate law, estate planning, and real estate. Stefano currently serves on the board of directors of TPF Association, an international freight forwarding network with member companies from over 45 countries. He also serves on the advisory board of the department of marketing, international business, and legal studies at the Hofstra University School of Business.
Stefano earned a BBA in International Business from the Hofstra University School of Business and a JD from the Hofstra University School of Law. He is admitted to the state bar in New York and New Jersey.


Thomas Kenney
Vice President of Customs Brokerage
Thomas Kenney began as a vendor and client of Aetna’s since the company’s founding in 1996, joining the company full-time as Vice President of Customs Brokerage in June 2013.
Thomas started his career in the freight forwarding industry in 1983. He is a deeply experienced global logistics professional with expert knowledge of customs regulations, policies, practices, procedures, and
compliance requirements. He became a licensed Customs Broker in 1993 and has since served in a variety of leadership positions of increasing responsibility managing customs brokerage departments and overseeing cargo import operations.
Prior to joining Aetna, Thomas worked for several freight forwarders, large and small, on both the east and west coasts. He also served for 10 years as Vice President of the New York office of Fracht FWO Inc.,
a subsidiary of Swiss global logistics company Fracht Group AG.
MARTIN TAYLOR
Chief Financial Officer
Martin joined the Aetna-Group in October 2024 as CFO, further bolstering the Executive Management team with his strategic and financial expertise, including his cross-border corporate finance M&A experience. Martin is responsible for value creation, growth and capital allocation as well as business partnering and performance management, lean finance operations, and business digitization, data and analytics.
Martin’s experience includes valuation, modelling, financial due diligence (FDD), reporting and deal management for privately owned businesses on both buy side and sell side of M&A transactions in the technology, professional and business services, and logistics industries with revenues between $2m and $75m, and 100 to 200 employees.
In his role as CFO, Martin is responsible for driving improvements in KPI’s, customer and service line profitability, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, margin, working capital, internal controls & process improvement, utilizing the Balanced Scorecard approach.
Prior to joining the Aetna-Group, Martin served as CFO for multiple organizations, as well as consulting CFO for PE backed businesses.


Anthony DePaola
Chief Technology Officer
Anthony DePaola joined Aetna as Chief Technology Officer in May 2023. He is responsible for strategic digital transformation through the implementation of emerging technologies, along with technical operations and innovations.
Anthony is an IT executive with over 20 years of hands-on experience in complex digital infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, software development, and business intelligence (BI). His vast array of expertise has allowed him to successfully lead multiple organizations to achieve their strategic objectives by leveraging new technologies.
Prior to joining Aetna, Anthony served as CTO for Total Transportation Corp. (TTC) where he developed and maintained the entire digital infrastructure, which was deployed to all locations across the Northeastern United States and included the integration of one of the largest passenger transportation operations in New York City. He also previously held Management and Director positions at IBM, various IT consulting firms, and medical facilities. Anthony earned a BA in Computer Systems along with multiple IT certifications and industry accolades.
CATHERINE PETRACCIONE
Executive Vice President, Logistics
Catherine Petraccione is an accomplished logistics executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience in global freight operations and end-to-end supply chain management. She brings a proven track record of driving operational excellence, technology integration, and strategic growth across complex logistics environments.
Catherine Petraccione joined Aetna Group in April 2025 as the Executive Vice President of Logistics, where she plays a key role in advancing the company’s logistics strategy, streamlining operations, and enhancing service delivery. She has directed cross-regional teams, utilized global staffing models including international support resources, and implemented enterprise platforms such as CargoWise to modernize workflows and increase visibility across operations.
Well-versed in establishing scalable processes and procedures, Catherine has led major integration efforts involving departments and company functions—delivering smooth transitions that support long-term growth and performance. Her strengths include building collaborative team cultures, maintaining a solutions-focused mindset, and aligning logistics operations with broader business objectives.
A forward-thinking leader, Catherine excels at cultivating lasting partnerships, developing talent, and driving transformational change. Her deep operational insight and dedication to continuous improvement make her a vital force behind Aetna Group’s logistics innovation and strategic success.
